Okay, I think I should clarify exactly what positions are part of the staff on this forum, who are the staff members, and how you can help out and/or become a staff member.
ADMINISTRATORS
The Administrator is the main runner of the forum. This administrator, will execute all administrative consequential actions, keep the forum running smoothly, and make sure the member community is cooperating well and socializing as good as we hope.

ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR[/color]
The Assistant Administrator does mostly what the main administrator does, but with a little more limited access to the board settings page. The Assistant Administrator may also execute administrative consequential actions when the main administrator is unable to do so.

Global Moderators
The Global Moderators will help monitor the boards while still having the ability to conduct consequential actions to a member, with permission of the main administrator. Their access to the board settings are less than that of the administrator and assistant administrator.

Moderators
The moderators do not have administrative access to governing any forum. They are assigned certain forums and keep to those forums at all times.

Assistant Moderators
The Assistant Moderators are the lowest staff group. They have no access to the board settings, and are assigned only a few forums at a time to monitor.
Who's in this group?
There are currently no Assistant Moderators. When we feel the need to fill the spot we will contact our entire staff and we will gather observations made by them and choose a member who has contributed greatly to our community.
Okay, now that we're clear with who is what, and what who does, let's get onto the staff hiring process. You may not ask another staff member to become staff. If a staff member feels that you have made great contributions to our forum and generally share a positive attitude with our member community, he/she will recommend you. If we are in need for a staff ember, they will mention.
It's not easy to be recommended for staff though -- you need to be a hardworking, active, and positive contributer to our community. Get yourself recognized among the staff. Start groups or clubs that soar to great heights because of your efforts as a leader, contribute Watchmen-related news to one of our staff members, tell us about any problems the forum might have, and make suggestions. It's not easy to acquire the recognition of the staff on this forum, so you have to really work hard for it.
Being staff is a hard job. If you are asked to become staff, take into consideration how much time you will need in a day to monitor threads/boards, post announcements, and do whatever you need to do to help out the forum. Do not accept the staff opportunity if you are not ready to dedicate a lot of your life to making sure this forum is great. You can decline the staff opportunity, but don't worry, if you ever change your mind, or are older and have more free time, we'll still have you near the top of our recommendations list, so you can still apply. But you need to make sure that you continue to support and contribute to our site once that time has come.[/b]
Well, I think I've given my 2 cents here. Just read over this and make sure you are clear with the staff structure before doing anything stupid.
