Okay, now that the forum is ready for use and everything's in place, I'll just go over the general rules that everyone will follow on this board. If any of these rules are violated, it will result in consequential actions taken by staff.
So, before posting or replying to any threads, make sure you're clear on these rules.
Absolutely No Flaming!
Flaming promotes a negative atmosphere around our forum. Don't do it.
Absolutely No Spamming!
Spamming promotes the use of "Stupid, Pointless, Annoying Messages." It's a form of abusing the account you are granted here by not following the usual discussion of the forum. Don't do it.
No pornographic, sexually offensive, or adult themed images or content on this board
This means that you will NOT post any images promoting the pornographic nature, being offensive to the opposite sex, or posting any adult-themed content such as drug use, etc.
Linking to your offsite blog IS allowed
If you have a blog you want to share with this community, you can make a thread and link to it in the Completely Off Topic Forum, only as long as there isn't anything inappropriate in your blog.
Post in the right forum
Make sure you are posting a thread in the right forum before posting it. If you are curious where a certain thread would go, PM a staff member and they'll help you out.
When you are posting informational threads, don't be vague
Do not provide extremely limited information in a thread when yuo want people to know about your topic. Also, do not post chunks of information in separate posts as you go along, just continue editing your first post in the thread with the new information.
Respect the staff
The staff members here are volunteering their own time to help this forum be awesome. Don't disrespect them. See here.
Religious signatures/images are not allowed
We will NOT allow any religious/holiday signatures or images on this forum. This is only because these images can lead to several issues between certain members. It will NOT be tolerated.
Do not use foul language
Currently the word filter is unused. If there is any need to add words to the filter, we will do so without hesitation. Any foul language found on this forum will be removed, and the member will face consequential action from the staff.
These will be the only rules for now. Any staff members may make amendments to this list of rules, but only administrator Jack Kovacs may edit currently placed rules.[/b]
